Circuit Training

Our client was struggling to meet the development needs of its middle managers because the development budget had been reduced and the managers had little time available to commit to development.

We worked with our client to identify six priority development areas – leadership presence; motivation; political nous; communicating strategy; emotional intelligence; and influencing.

Together, we developed a suite of half-day circuit training sessions branded as a ‘bootcamp experience’.

Each circuit training session was designed to include a little theory to underpin the learning, as well as experiential exercises and action planning.

Delegates were given handouts summarising the key points and also highlighting additional sources of information and support available to them.

They also received post bootcamp emails featuring key messages and encouraging them to access some of the client’s online support materials.

In addition, in order to maximise our client’s value from this exercise, we designed and ran a two-day Train the Trainer session.

The circuit training has been so successful that the client now owns the programme and has rolled it out across the globe.
